ESSEX, MA – A new fieldstone retaining wall and steps cradle a new pool, making the most of challenging topography and creating a landscape feature. Adjacent to the pool is a pea stone terrace overlooking the marsh, creating a perfect connection between the interior of the home, the pool, and the surrounding agrarian landscape. Raised beds were built in fieldstone to provide a space for the client to tend to their garden. All throughout these new garden elements are plantings designed to create welcoming spaces and paths with added color and texture.
