MAGNOLIA – This extraordinary property was once part of a vibrant summer hotel community in oceanfront Magnolia, Massachusetts, in the early 1900’s. The large Victorian home is one of the few remaining vestiges of this era, and enjoys sweeping views over a historic Olmsted garden and the rocky coastline of Cape Ann. The client wanted to remove an old clay tennis court in favor of rock gardens, a terrace large enough for entertaining, firepit, parking area, and significant grade changes that take advantage of the incredible views. This client also loves Cape Ann Granite as much as we do, and we used it in walls, steps, and decorative paving throughout the garden.
