Gloucester, MA – Complete with terraced gardens, bluestone patio, and reclaimed cobble paths, this newly renovated home on Leonard Street has become a lavish retreat for our clients. We had the opportunity to develop the connection between the landscape and the house with a new deck, smoothing the transition into an outdoor entertaining space. Cobble edges and plant beds line the spaces, creating a sense of garden “rooms” that feel cozy at the residential scale. An antique water fountain is carefully placed at the end of the terrace as if its being held by the intricate planting that surrounds it. As you move farther from the house, the garden becomes a more rustic destination garden, its focal point a granite bench carved into the wall.
