GLOUCESTER FARMHOUSE – The gardens surrounding this 18th century, re-constructed dairy barn have evolved over several years, and are the result of horticultural and spatial experimentation. It is Hilarie Holdsworth’s private garden, and reflects a keen desire to find an exquisite balance of formal and whimsical, structural and wild. Over the years she has experimented too with stone, concrete, brick, and sculpture to create patterns and repeating themes within the garden. The garden is shared often with philanthropic organizations, garden tours, and friends.
